How long did it take you to make your first dollar on Hubpages?
How quickly did you get views?
I made my first dollar on Hubpages about 5 weeks after I started publishing articles in earnest. The number of views, I think, will depend on the topics you write about and how popular those topics are. For me, the more obscure topics get very few views, while others can get hundreds of views in a single day. It just depends on what choose to write about.
Emerald, 5 weeks is incredible. The consensous seems to be in months not weeks. Great job!
Thank you Availiasvision. Once I started writing about topics I'm passionate about and knew a lot about the clicks started coming in. I also wrote a hub about how I got to $1 a day on Hubpages. I outlined my progress and the steps I took on there. ht
It took me from July 2011 to March 2012 to make $1.28. I know if I wrote more, my results would be better but I have a hard time with topics. When I decide on a topic, then I have to find the time to write. I enjoy writing though and I enjoy looking at my account and watching to see what gets read the most, etc. I think it just takes time. It is definitely not a get rich quick situation but I can see how you can build income over time. Thus far, in April and May I have earned $.90.

I write how-to and recipe hubs. I know the recipe hubs will make money eventually but I have read that technical hubs get more views. What is your thoughts or experience on this topic?

How do I get over 1,000 views across all of my articles? I know you told me many times to write, and write until I get up to 50 or 70 articles. How exactly do I know what to write or what to research? How do I expect to find a topic that google is desperately looking for?

How long did it take you to get to 100,000 page views?I enjoyed the answers to my question about how long it took people to get to 10,000 page views I thought I'd take it a step further. How long were you on HubPages and how many hub did you have when you reached 100K?

I know that this is the most asked question here, but I'd still really appreciate it if anybody answered.I've been on Hubpages for about 6 months now, and I've just published my 7th Hub, and I'm starting to write a few more. As of right now, I have 239 total views, and each Hub has roughly 36...

Is it better to write hubs around one topic, or experiment with various ones?On one hand, a subdomain with numerous articles surrounding one topic seems like it would give authority to the account. On the other hand, experimenting with new topics may pay off as you could stumble across a...
