    How to make money.

How do you make being a "hubber" successful? I've seen people with thousands of followers who write about the most off the wall random stuff.. what makes money? # of views? # of comments? I'm so lost!

You need views to get comments and ad clicks the more views you get the more chance you have of someone clicking on ads or buying from ebay and amazon.....jimmy

Ohhh, so money to be made is purely based on the # of times your ads are clicked?  That's what I was thinking.  Thank ya!

having lots of followers does not mean you are making lots of money

Well, obviously when someone follows your hubs the more likely they are to actually read when you post. I realize now, after reading faq's and following my own views/earnings patterns, that it IS about traffic, but also their reaction to your hub.

Hubs with good quality content is what makes the most money.  Good content naturally draws traffic from search engines.

As you have zero Hubs, that's probably why you are having trouble making money here.
