How does joining HubPages Ad Program affect AdSense earnings?
Specifically: Does the 60/40 cut of AdSense revenue remain? I mean, the posting of ads of 60% of the time still happens? I noticed a big cut in my AdSense earnings and I'm thinking if I'm gonna have to quit the Ad program because AdSense has always been my priority.
I don't know the answer to the 'specific' part of your question. However, when I set up HPAds last September, my earnings increased by a factor of about 3, which has increased to about 10 over the time since. Meanwhile, my Adsense earnings have crept slowly upwards from the initial hit they took. (In fact, my highest Adsense earnings ever came this last April--though they are still peanuts compared to my HPAd revenue.)
You don't say how long you've had HPAds, nor how much you are making, and I'd think that your circumstances and mine might be quite different. But I'd at least give it a little time to see how your bottom line evolves. I at least am way ahead with HPAds.
