Does marking a hub as commercial or not commercial have any effect on the hubs traffic?
no, just the number of ads. non-com hubs don't have as many ads.
There is no difference between the skyscraper and the condo-building other then the amount of time each building tries to get you to do something.

The ad level has a check mark for "high" followed by "This hub may be considered commercial.What exactly does this mean. Is this a good thing and if not, is it ok to check a low level?

I removed the Amazon ads from some of my hubs and unchecked the "This hub may be viewed as commercial" box. Will this affect my earnings through the HP earnings program? Any advice would be appreciated.
