$50. It takes a different amount of time for everyone. It depends on the number of hubs you have, the quality of them, and how much promoting/sharing you do. Some people don't ever make it. You have to put in a lot of effort and make it a goal to be successful here.
If you're willing to put in the effort it will pay off in the long run, but you'll need to do a lot of work up front.
I reached the threshold so what day of the month does it get paid out?
It depends when you reached $50. If you reached it last month you will get paid on the 28th of this month, if you reached it this month you will get paid on the 28th of next month.
Thank you uninvited writer, that's exactly what I needed to know! I reached the threshold just after the 28th of last month so payday is tomorrow. Yipee!

I have still not seen even .01 from HubPages. I have 18 hubs and have been on the site for over 6 weeks now. Do the articles take awhile to start earning money? I am just curious what other hubbers results have been (typically). Thanks!

So i've finally reached the magical $50 and i was wondering what happens now. I read online that they do payouts on the 28th of each month but that occurs in the month after the limit was reached. Does this mean that even though i achieved the $50 mark on the 27th of may, i will have to...

As I approached the $50 payout a few years ago, HubPages kept changing the rules until my monthly earnings fell to a few cents per month. I believe I'm currently making about a penny or less a month. I want to TERMINATE my account. But first I want to be paid the $48 and change...

Yay! I hit the $100 mark on Sunday. Half of that is from Hubpages, and the other half is from one of my blogs that I just put ads on a couple months ago. That really sped things along.I'm sure I would've reached payout sooner if I had more hubs, but I'm celebrating the milestone nevertheless. :-)
