Why do some hubs get a score of 100 even though they have spelling and grammar mistakes?
I know a hub can be good without having a score of 100, but I can't help noticing spelling and grammar errors in some of them. I have even found this to be true when browsing the "best" section.
It all depends upon the page impression.Hubs which generates more traffic from internal as well external sources (google, bing and other search eniges) gets high ratings.
HubPages doesn't scan/proof the overall site content for spelling and grammar. HubScores have a lot more to do with traffic than language technicalities.
If you find a Hub with a lot of errors, you are supposed to flag it for the moderators to review.
Guess content and what the hub is actually saying is just more important and or more value than spelling and grammer. I'd have to agree as I wouldn't place significant importance on grammer.

Do you think Hubpages should take a harder stance to poorly written hubs?I hop hubs when I can, and find so many that are of poor quality. They have little to no content, or just one long text block. Don't get me started about the spelling or grammar.Should HP take more of a harder...

Why don't people check their spelling and grammar when they write and publish their Hubs?It is understandable when the person is not a native English speaker, but when the author is a native English speaker with some amount of education, it is quite sad.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the types of services we offer Hubbers and how to help Hubbers improve.A few services that have been suggested- grammar and spell checking- suggesting edits- providing images/media upon request- formatting help (breaking hubs into multiple text capsules,...

I can't stress enough the importance of checking your hubs weekly for any needed editing. Since the change in ad size, formatting and attractiveness of your hub may have changed. The products advertised seem to change more frequently as well, often having nothing to do with your hub.Of course, you...
