Hi Everyone,
I just joined HubPages and made my first hub. I wanted to start out with something simple.
Please check it out and I'd appreciate any replies with your feedback.
I'm hoping that you'll find it well laid out, easy to read, with a good balance of text/pics/video/amazon, for this Hub length.

Thanks for your time.
Are You SURE?
I mean will you SURVIVE the Extreme Rakeover?
Can You HANDLE US being seriously Nice?
ok, you have a good day! or nite there isnt it? nite
Thanks... You Too PDH... it's early Tuesday morning.
Hey Friendly User, welcome to Hubpages. Will leave a comment on your hub.
Thanks for the comment emievil.
You're right in your comment about that section of text being a bit long; I hadn't even noticed till you mentioned it. Don't really prefer to break that part up into sections, since all that stuff goes together, but I'll see what I can come up with.
Thanks!
Nice Dodge on the Christmas Party Fund there Friendly User (FU ). (probably best we don't abbreviate your name )
Your Hub looks fine as far as the technical info. But I would suggest that you reduce the amount of Bold Text and allow your text to flow. For those who wish to scan this hub; I would suggest that you add (in your own words) a short summary on each option, as opposed to relying on YouTube endorsement.
Good effort first up... welcome to HP
All good points there.
1) It was a bit of a dodge, yes
2) It didn't even occur to me that my username could be abbreviated like so.
3) Yeah, I guess I could reduce the bold text.
4) I didn't want to confuse things too much with a short summary for each option, so I had summaries for all options closer to the end in my own words. But I see what you're saying.
Thanks for the feedback.
It's obvious you worked hard and that's always good to see! the first one is hard.
It's thorough and gives the reader good info.
PD is right about the bold text. It's good to use on headings and a few specific key words, but you don't want to use too much bold.
you can also bullet info which looks nice.
I like to use the youtube videos also, and have found that moving them over to the left reduces them into a nice, compact box and then the accompanying text is in the capsule next to it on the right. you can mix up the way you use the capsules and that will come with more writing. there's so many ways to make a great hub.
you're off to a great start. enjoy! read a lot of hubs to see what words and what different writers do with their info.
Thanks for the suggestions
I agree I should get rid of some bold text. When i get a chance to edit I will do that.
For the youtube videos, I'll have to try out your idea to make them more compact. My videos are on the left already, but I guess you need to move something to the right of them, to make them compact? I'll need to play around with that layout.
oops, sorry, I meant to say, the videos can be moved to the right. (it's a monday morning)
you will see when you click on the green arrow to move the video text to the right, a text capsule will move into the blank space on the left.
Ok, no problem; I see how that works now. Thanks.
Welcome to HubPages it's ok to break your text as it also adds room for extra adsense ads and while in Edit mode, move your Amazon capsules to align along the sides of your text that's a awesome Hub too.
Glad you liked my Hub
Yes, I think I'll play around with the layout a bit to break up some of that text a bit more. When I was making it, I didn't know you could move capsules to go along the side of the text as you were saying, so I'll have to look into that too.
Thanks for the comment too
Welcome to HP! And ditto on the bold thing. I seriously can't even read hubs/articles that have too much bold in them.
You need to work a little bit on your tags. Some are just way out there, like "differences".
Other than that, good job.
Yeah, i didn't spend as much time as I should on my tags. I'll need to clean that up a bit too.
Thanks

I have done a fair bit of writing, but I'm new here so I want to make sure and fit in! I know one of my hubs missed the mark, but I'd love to hear what I'm doing right, and what I'm doing wrong. I don't mind constructive criticism - I'm here to learn! Would anybody be...

There are two newly discovered hubbers who have only posted raw translations by using online translating tool, what they did was merely copy and paste the results without doing any further modifications. From the comments they replied, you can tell they don't really understand much English. Even...
