We are an award-wining Linux Training Institute in India with centers in Hyderabad and Bangalore. We are totally new at hubpage and want to share information to others on what we have in our institute. As at early stage – we have started our hubpages at http://cosstech.hubpages.com/ and our first hub is at http://cosstech.hubpages.com/hub/Learn- … ses-Online .
It would be great if you people see our page and give your feedback on how we are and how we can improve.

Hubpages is not suitable for free advertising. Your hubs will probably be flagged.

you can write some hubs about your site but don't put in many links to external site. Preferably Hubpages links only.

You will want to read the rules about what can and cannot go into Hub content, and especially be sure to note rules about what sort of links and how many can be in a Hub.

Thanks for this information; as a new comer - we were not aware that images can also be used.

paradigm search and relache; thanks for your suggestions. I will definitely review the guidelines before my next hub. I will try to provide some tutorial kind of content for the new comers in my coming hubs.

I would strongly suggest having a good read through of the learning center - It's got lots of great advice in there on writing compelling, engaging hubs, plus guidelines on what is and isn't allowed: http://learningcenter.hubpages.com/

galleryofgrace and peachy; thanks for your advice. I am here not to advertise something, after reading hubs of some senior member here - I found this place is good for knowledge sharing. I am learning how to be a God Boy smile in HubPages.

Did you people saw my hub? Is it look like advertisement? I just use one link to my site; is it not permitted?

The link to your website is most likely a reason why your hub has not passed.

Is all of your text content in one text capsule?

colorfulone, I have deleted the link to my website from the hub. How will I get to that my hub has been passed?

The whole text is within one capsule. Is it a problem? Please suggest.

Have as many text capsules as possible. You can decide to have each paragraph as a capsule. This will help you put other capsules in between, like photo capsules. You can learn all these at the learning center. Welcome.

Post a hub about Linux not letting us do anything as to  file management and more. Start from SU-clueless to SU-knowledgeable. Do that and I'll mention the hub at my infamous website. big_smile

Sorry, but I couldn't understood what is your suggestion? What exactly you think would be a good hub for me?

SU aka super user command. Linux is a total nightmare for newbies. Won't let them do anything that Windows normally allows. A hub on what to do to fix that would really be useful. You don't write it, I will. big_smile
