Im only fairly new to the hubpages scene myself, but answering other peoples questions, not only helps them but also helps get people to know you and increase traffic to your hubs. You obviously already ask questions, hence this one and that is also another way. I suggest visiting other hubs and leave comments on those you enjoyed reading. Most people will reply and return the favour and check our your hubs and style of writing.
Thanks for asking this question. I am also quite new to the hubpages. Currently I will write some insightful comments on interesting hubs and also ask and answer questions here. I hope also to know of more ways we can help to promote ourself.
Ye, i'd vote that you should just take the chance to get involved in the 'hubpages community' so just comment and answer and ask and just interact with people on here. Some will inevitably check out your page.
Do some hub hopping, join in the forums etc. I went and looked at your hubs because you asked the question !
Also promote yourself on facebook & other forums as you need other people to read your hubs & click on the adverts .
