Whats the best way to get started with pinterest?
What the first thing I should do now that I have an invite to pinterest?
Sign up and start sharing your Hubs on there. All traffic helps.
Sign up and connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts with Pinterest. This way you can instantly follow your friends on those sites. Hopefully they will also follow you as soon as they realize your presence on Pinterest. This means more people will see your pins and start repinning them thus allowing your pins to reach their followers who can then refer back to you as the original pinner and start following you if they like your stuff.
Make sure you don't just pin your Hubs but other stuff too otherwise you will look like a spammer. Also, look up WryLilt on HubPages and see her two Hubs about Pinterest, especially the one on MFP images.

Hi! I just published a new hub but did not see the Facebook or Twitter thingy pop up for a quick link to Facebook and Twitter accounts. Has Hubpages done away with this?

I have been reading older forum posts and doing some research on my own for this question. I know some Hubers have great success with Pinterest so I would love to hear what you are doing that works. Thank you.

Is using social networks to increase my traffic against the Terms of Service on Hubpages and does it affect my HP Program in any negative way?
