Who thinks it's a good idea to go ahead and switch to the new profile now, and why?
Seems to me it could save a lot of trouble just doing it now instead of trying to figure it out later, and we're going to have to sooner or later. Of course, I see the value of just letting it take it's course, let the new profiles come along and just slide right in.
I switched to the new look and I like it. Its a good idea to go ahead and switch to the new look. In fact I think the new profile look is more relevant for SEO than the old profile look. The new look has more content displayed on the Home page making it more SEO relevant. Just go ahead and switch to the new profile look. Further more the HP admin might at some point make it compulsory.
I'm still fairly new to HubPages, so I didn't even know there was a new profile format out. When I clicked on afriqnet's it looked very nice, so I switched over. This was primarily because I don't have any content yet, so I don't have any attachment to how it was formerly laid out.
I still think it looks much more organized and the theme idea is good, though most of the ones that have images are useless because you barely see the background through the modules - at least on my size screen (11"). Does anyone else see it this way, or is it just those of us on netbooks?
I have switched today, and I really like the new layout, and that you can pick some of your favourite hubs to showcase on your page.

I have been thinking about how I can give some of my hubs that receive less traffic more light. On our profiles, we can pick a bunch of hubs that feature in a "gallery" that fades in and out, right under our...

A few days ago, I noticed that a lot of people were talking about changing from HP Ad Program to Google AdSense. I had tried that a few years ago, but switched back pretty quickly because I earned better with HP....

I love the new profile page, it looks better, I like that you can choose which hubs to feature. One thing I miss about the old set-up is that I could see at a glance which of the people I'm following had recently posted...

Do you think it is a good idea to turn in articles less than 500 words?I have read some really short hubs lately that must have gone up really fast. Do you think this is a bad idea? Does it affect the views?
