Getting traffic is the most important factor for a Publisher's earnings. People who visit our hubs click on the ads. So, it will be useless if we use bots, systems or other illegal ways for getting 'fake' traffic.
The only way to get more visitors to our hubs is 'promote' them. As people publicize certain activities in the society, we publishers publicize our hubs in the world of Internet.
'Social Websites', divided into Social Networking and Social Bookmarking, are the websites that help us get views. People like to learn or read something new. Social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, My Space etc. can be used for sharing our hubs with our friends or other people. Social Bookmarking websites like Digg, Reddit, Delicious, Stumble Upon etc. can be used for sharing our hubs with the whole world.
Especially, Reddit is a great website for getting visitors. Once a link gets popular, it receives thousands of views in a day. Another website, Pinterest, ranked in the Top 50 Websites in Alexa, can be used for sharing hubs that have images in them. This website was created for sharing Images. But, we can share web-pages if they have images.
