Hey everyone , I´m new here on hubpages and I wonder how I can get some traffic to my hubs, I have 3 hubs, travelling around the world, travel is life, and the boston strong boy, can I make them better, would that help the traffic, please let me now, J.T.
You can submit your hubs to social bookmarking websites, like reddit, digg, stumble upon, etc. This will help bring traffic to your hubs. Also, make sure your tags are appropriate to your hubs. You say they're travel hubs, add tags related to travel and the places that you discuss. Post links on any blogs or websites that you may have.

Hi JT -
I've had a look at yours, and while there's nothing wrong with them, I think you could add a bit more content, especially the one that more or less says the Sheraton is a nice hotel. I'd like a travel page to step outside the hotel and give more local colour from the streets, markets, etc.
There are lots of tricks to attract visitors, but only content can keep them and hopefully bring them back. In this respect, hubpages are no different from other websites.
thanks whitney, thanks paraglider, perhaps your right it need some more content, i will get to work immidately, and again thanks both of you for some helpful answers, since I´m new on this, I might have some more questions, but then i know where to ask.
yours

I realized today that one of my hubs has been copied and re-published on two different websites. I was looking at my Google Analytics and noticed someone had searched on a complete sentence or two from one of my hubs. When I searched the sentence on Google myself I saw the other websites that...

I used to be totally addicted to HP, couldn't wait to log on everyday to see what was happening, who and what was popping in the forums, what interesting hub made HOTD, and of course, how my stats and earnings were progressing. I looked forward to the rush I got from clicking "publish"...

Dear Fellow Hubbers,I've put together <no links please!> which I use to drive traffic to my hubs and blogs. This list is based on about 1 year of trial and error with scores of websites. On my list you'll find lots of social bookmarking, social networking, social shopping, classified ads...

I log on every day, and it seems that I always find negative things popping up in the forums. I am sorry that so many people are struggling on HubPages. From SEO issues to having popular hubs unfeatured for a multitude of reasons, it seems very discouraging for any newcomers. When I first got here...

Just checked it on Alexa.com, and realized which (alleged) effect the Panda updates of Google has on traffic. Although I'm still happy with the traffic my Hubs have, are the foundations increasingly eroding. Are there any ideas to change this trend? http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/hubpages.com
