I try to edit my hubs which usually does not work for me.  The only thing that seems  to help me get more view is when I change images and titles. I really believe that content is king and having supportive followers.  I notice you only have 8 followers.  I wish you could help me get more views.

I think try and work on the backlinks.  I have written 30ish odd hubs.  Now I am going to spend the next few weeks getting backlinks.  As far as I know it takes time and persistence.

I've had this happen twice, and right now am still dealing with the slowdown that began August 20 with another Google update.

Usually, I just wait, but while I'm waiting, I go back into the hubs that are doing the worst and do what I can to improve them.  I think this helps some, but until Google stops playing games, it's going to be tough to get increased views.

Google will never stop playing "games". They're trying to bring to searches the most relevant content.

I agree on building strong backlinks - a word of caution however, be careful who you link to! If you end up with links on irrelevant sites or a ton of links from low PR websites that can also lower your reputation and drag your traffic levels down.

Also take time to edit edit edit.  Make sure your hubs are nice to look at so that viewers stay on your page.  A high bounce rate (where someone finds your link with a search engine then immediately clicks away) will also hurt your page rank and traffic.

Update any hubs that need updating. Delete or change out any Amazon recommendations or videos attached to the hubs. Periodically like the slower hubs on facebook, twitter and pinterest again. if you have a personal blog page, either attach a link there or recommend your hubs on your blog. If you have a google account or another way to "google plus" your hubs, then make use of google plus.

If I just have one or two hubs that aren't getting much traffic suddenly, I ignore it (topics trend, sometimes some of my topics won't be as popular as they were 2 months ago). If all my hubs are suddenly slowing down, I like to write a few new hubs. New hubs bring potential for new viewers who may like some of your older hubs as well (if you tend to write about the same topic). There's always the option of using social media to try to draw in traffic as well but lately I like to just see how my hubs do without me trying to draw in traffic.

There are several ways to improve traffic. You may have to try all of them at some time or gradually work your way through.

    - gain quality back links to other sites
    - promote your hub on social networks
    - transform your old under performing hubs
    - work on SEO
    - become more active on HubPages answering questions, commenting, in forums and so on.

Be patient, focus on quality content and build up a nucleus of decent hubs over several months.
    Good luck.
