The morning is filled with cleaning which usually gets done an hour before noon. Laundry gets done as the day goes on. Then I sit down, write a bit, study my teacher's slide shows, work on a puzzle, go for a bike ride, shower, read a book, cup of tea, etc. Anything that makes me feel comfortable.

On Saturdays I have a little lay in then it's up to do all the house work so I can have my Sundays free for Hubpages.

If there is something around our apartment that needs to be fixed, Saturday is usually my day to do it. I'm quite the DIY'er, not fond of calling the landlord to have him send someone to fix minor things. If there's nothing that needs to be done around the apartment, then I just like to lounge. Hit up my usual forums, pop in to Hubpages, see what's on tv, watch movies with my girlfriend, and just enjoy one of my 2 days off for the week.

In the summer it was sleeping till 7 or 8 and then housework. Now it's English lessons from 10 to 2 and 4 to 6. In between 2 and 4 I cook. By 6:05 I'm too pooped from all the week's work to do much else. (My Sunday is much the same.). Does my routine make you feel lucky to have the Saturday you do? Back when I was in the States, my Saturday was spent working at Target either morning shift till 4 or 5 or evening shift till 10.

Not that much has changed. But I'm not complaining; only 7 years ago I also had to tend to my mother, who couldn't do much on her own (including bathe).

At this time of year, it's watching college football.

A typical Saturday usually begins quite late, since I usually sleep in after probably staying out a tad too late the night before. If it's football season then I enjoy tailgating and then seeing the Texas Longhorns beat up on the competition! Afterwords I try and get some homework done before going out and celebrating the weekend with friends.

    God I love college.

Currently, my saturdays are an escape.  I get in the car, decide on a direction, drive to it and chill out.  sometimes I'll be touring some area; other times just sitting in a coffee shop.
