Welcome to hubpages
Hi there, I just had a look at your hub and have a few comments:
You've got the right idea, my advice is to break up your writing into paragraphs to make it easier to follow than one big block of text.
Also, don't forget about things like spell check, grammar, and using capitals at the beginning of your sentences, and if you're writing a factual article it's better to avoid using the first person when possible.
It sounds really picky, but it will make you look that much more professional in your writing.
Hope this helps,
Welcome to HubPages and good luck!
Best advice I can give you is do your best to write about what you know, but be original. Fresh, relevant content is always your best asset here. Also, when posting comments, either on another author's hub or in the forum, push yourself to relate and contribute something useful to the subject matter. I learned that the hard way, the more efficient and original your presence here is, the better!
Hope this helps,
Bryce Gray
Read, read and then when you think you are done reading read some more. There are tons of hubs here that will help you get through the starting process here.
Just take your time and you will get things right.

Welcome to HubPages!!
Take a little time to look around and get familiar with the site--read some hubs to see how other hubbers do things. You can find answers to any questions you may have by posting in the 'need help' forum or by doing a quick search for what you're looking for in the search bar at the top of the page
Have fun hubbing
I can recommend many hubs by 'Darkside' and 'Mark Knowles'. Just try searching 'hubpages', 'keywords', 'seo', 'tagging', 'backlinking', 'make money' and similar terms in the search box..... there is some really great stuff. I published my first hub 5 months ago and still learn everytime I read.

What do you do when you read a hub that is purely promotional? The hub itself may be well-written and enjoyable, but clearly it is all about promoting a company, product, or service. Do you flag it? Do you ignor it? Do you rate it?

I published my first hub today. The first comment I got remarked that my hub was funny. It's not. I can see that maybe a scan of the first paragraph might lead a casual reader to think that the hub may be going in an amusing direction but how can the death of my wife and my subsequent decision to...
