Change the hub, or make part 2?
One of my first hubs is called "5 Handy Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows". I was having a look at it just now a realised that it only has 400 words. I've been thinking for a while of adding another 5 shortcuts, to make it an even 10. This would easily bring me over the 500 word target. The question is: should I do that, and call it "10 Handy Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows", or should I make a "5 Handy Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows: Part 2". What's better in terms of traffic?
I would add it to the first hub instead of making a part 2. I've also read that HubPages does not recommend parts to hubs. Most people want the information in one place.
Yes, HP frowns on "parts." Moreover, adding to the original hub should also keep it from going idle, of which it is at risk if it's only 400 words and hasn't been updated.
If the existing hub has been successful, you'll want to keep it, but if it hasn't, you might consider retiring it in favor of an all new hub using the old and the new material as you would have when updating the old. Should you choose to do this, be sure to wait a week or so after deleting the old hub before publishing the new in order to avoid duplicate content.

Just curious if people go back and edit their hubs after they first put them up. While I don't think you should publish incomplete hubs, I thought it would be better to get it up and running and going back later...
