People from some locations have to wait for 6 months to become eligible for adsense. Why?
In some locations, like China and India, Google requires publishers to have owned their sites for more than 6 months to become eligible to participate in AdSense program. Why? What is the reason?
This question has been dealt with many times on Hubpages.
The reason is that these 2 countries have had a history of creating hacks that intentionally disrupt online activity. Google unfortunately paints all citizens from China and India with the same brush.
Even if you do gain approval, you have to prove that you're providing real value to internet users, and casting a wide social net as well. Even at that, Google can, and frequently does close accounts, seemingly on a whim or the flimsiest excuse.
Besides, Adsense is generally not worth it, in my experience. Unless you have a huge number of page views (and the type of content that advertisers pay a lot for), you'll be lucky to make more than a few pennies a week.
Write often, and good quality hubs. Once you Adsense is approved, at least your hubs would have matured.
But as timorous said, this is Google's decision and they do as they see fit.

Would you think I must apply now for adsense? I have almost 35 hubs, is it okay now? I have read some forum that they got approved without the 6 month thingy. Some got approved in 3 weeks.

I joined hub pages recently and have only a few articles online. So if I am to apply for a google adsense account what would be a safe number of articles to have before applying? And is the amount of time the articles are published also a factor?
