Is it imperative that I have at least 1 gmail address to use Google Adsense?
I have lots of problems since I have no phone during the day in the event that I can't get signed back in.
Yes, you must have a Google email address to use AdSense. I don't know what you mean about the signing back in difficulty during the day.

Since Adsense and Gmail both belong to Google so they male sure that you have all your accounts with them and under one name. You can log in to Google with your email log in. It is better because you got an email and Google Adsense, which you can log in with same set. Otherwise you would have to log in on Adsense separately and your email to check if they sent you something or not.
