I have a problem with gmail, I opened an account 2 weeks ago but apparently it was not verified. Yesterday i signed up for adsense and i used the gmail address that had not been verified i created the account with adsense. But later realising that when i signed into the gmail account it kept coming up unverified i clicked to verify it but when i signed in again it still came up with the samething. So i created a new account with a different username and email address. Problem is would i be allowed to create another adsense account because as i already created one i think i would not be allowed with a diffferent name they might see it as fradulent?
Thanx
Only one Adsense account per person is allowed. You will have to find some way to get the first Gmail account working, or have Google associate your Adsense account with the new Gmail account instead. I wonder how you could even have gotten Adsense without accessing your first Gmail account, since they would have emailed you information with a verification link.
Thank you for the reply, yes its so confusing i dont know either how i managed to open the account without verifying it i did check my mail did not find a verification mail. Today i logged into the account cause i am able to login and i saw above where it said account not verified, that i could change the email address. Which i did but it would not let me use a gmail email address so i put in my hotmail address and it was ok. So now when i sign into the google account i have to sign in with my hotmail address which is the primary address not the old gmail address.
Also now when i log in it asks if i want a separate account for gmail, so i am dreading filling the form out cause ive done it already twice. But when i click on adsense icon it states that there is no account yet and it is in review. When i sign in now with the old gmail account it wont recognise it so i dont know whether adsense realise that the hotmail address i use to sign in is the same account as the old gmail address i gave them. Hopefully they have cause of the message that appears when i click on the adsense icon. Maybe i should wait and see what happens?
You are welcome. I believe that the AdSense application process has become more streamlined recently than it used to be, when the application is filed through HubPages. That your application is still in review sounds likely if you have applied within the last few days. Even though having AdSense tied to a hotmail address may be inconvenient, it is not really so important, since AdSense usually don't send out much mail to their customers at all.
I have read the instructions saying that if someone uses a third party email account with AdSense, then it is possible to switch to a new Gmail address instead, but not to use an existing Gmail account. That sounds similar to what you are saying. In that case, the Gmail account becomes the primary address, and the non-Google account becomes the backup contact address.
As long as you are able to log into your Adsense account and to receive emails, if any, from AdSense, I don't see it as a big problem. So yes, maybe wait for the AdSense application to be approved, then link that account with HubPages, and finally deal with the email account issue.
i have g mail and that was fine but i got an email from adsense coz its taken me nearlly 3 weeks so apply and set up but they replyed and refused my application because or the url.
please can some one tell me what i need to put in the url box when you sign up for google adsense
That has to be the URL for your profile page, which is:

I see you are working hard WE, you to are an asset to HP! Glad that you are still here.
thanks im sure i did that the first time and when i did this it kept saying the email address you used is already in use with adsense even tho i never used it be before but i eill try again just incase thak you!!
In that case, you may want to contact HubPages to inquire whether they can see if there is a pending AdSense application in your name and for that email address. Also, I suggest checking your spam folder for any emails from Google.

A week ago, I received an email from Google AdSense saying my application had been partially reviewed, they would continue to review my site and it would be either approved or disapproved in 4 business days. I still haven't heard anything. Is there anything I can do other than send them an email?
