I want to bump my hubs earnings to a dollar a day. Any suggestions?
How do you promote your hubs? What is your daily modes of operation to increase your hubs earnings.
Thanks!!
When I first started writing, my primary promotion was through Facebook and commenting on other hubbers articles to get their attention. However, Google has passed that up and is now about two thirds of my views (the rest is about equally from Hubpages and Facebook). While I was up to $2 a day for a while, my views have dropped and I am around $1.25-$1.50 per day. I have 85 articles and receive around 300+ views a day. I've realized that I earn about 1 penny for every 2.5 views. Therefore, to make a dollar a day, you need to have around 250 daily page views.
It certainly is possible! Write search friendly articles on topics that are not over populated and you can do it! Good luck.
Hi bw, congrats on making 2 years on HP! Honestly, I'm not even making a dollar a day on here, so I'm no expert or anything. But I notice my views - and therefore my earnings - increase whenever I do the following things:
1. publish new hubs
2. comment on other people's hubs
3. ask and answer questions in Q&A
4. post links on Facebook (that's all I got for social media)
5. share other people's hubs in my own hubs and comments (w/ referral link)
When I do LESS of those things on HP, my earnings drop, and when I do MORE of those things, my earnings improve. So I'm no genius, but sometimes it's just a matter of volume. More hubs, more comments, more Q&A, more backlinks, more referral tagged shares.
Good luck!
Oh, you could also post comments on health/food blogs. Most bloggers will let you link your website to your name, and many will also approve comments with a relevant link in the comment itself, as long as the comment is something sincere and helpful. Whenever I comment on a blog that gets good traffic, I always get a little trickle of traffic to whatever I link to (usually one of my own blogs).
But you don't have to just link to your homepage of your blog when posting a comment. You can actually just link several comments on several blogs to a single hub of yours.
Okay, more good luck! Aloha
Sixty Hubs is quite a small account. I'd suggest doubling the size of your account as a first step, so you have a reasonable body of work.
Also check to make sure your Hubs stay "Featured" (with the big H next to them on your account), as Hubs without the H are invisible to search engines and won't earn you any income.
Thanks Marisa! Yes, I do have those H's in several of my hubs. Right, add more hubs. Ok, will do that! Thanks again!
60 hubs is small? I have 9 hubs and I'm still reaching more than a dollar a day and all my hubs are featured :3
I make about $2 a day off 40 some hubs. With Google, it's more about the original content and original photos, that increased my traffic. Also your opening comments are important to grab a readers attention.
I find that the most important way to get traffic is through blogs and Google. Try and find commentluv and keywordluv blogs that are in the same niche as your hub and post there.
Hub promotion is great, but also keep in mind that the larger your Hub portfolio is, the less each Hub has to earn to get you $1.00 a day. If you are a niche writer, and people enjoy reading one of your Hubs, you have a great chance that they will keep reading more of your Hubs.
Hub promotion is great, but having a lot of content on one subject will also help you meet your goal.
Quantity and quality what you should raise for your writing to raise your earning.Besides you should keep in mind about the selection of subject which must be search friendly.Make the title top ranking in the eyes of google .Link your writing with some social network like facebook, google+,twiter, pinterest.you can email your hub to some of your friends.Making question will make you more profitable than to answer a question( I have felt this with my own experience)

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...

On New Year's Day I acquired my 500th follower. In addition to this, I hope to reach another milestone within the next two weeks - the 500,000th visit to my hubs in 4 years. As far as page visits is concerned my goal now is to double this and reach a million views in the next 2 years. But although...

There are two newly discovered hubbers who have only posted raw translations by using online translating tool, what they did was merely copy and paste the results without doing any further modifications. From the comments they replied, you can tell they don't really understand much English. Even...

I have been a part of Hubpages for a while now and try to comment on other peoples hubs when I read them. However for some reason although I am getting regular traffic (admittedly not high, but regular) I am not getting comments. What can I do to encourage people to leave a comment?

Hi all,I've been here a month now and have 20 hubs, but when I read some of the forum posts I am worried that my traffic is low. I have had around 680 views total for all of my 20 hubs which averages about 6 per day for most of them, on average. I know it takes time to build up traffic and I am...
