The HubScor is dependent upon quality and relevancy, same like Google...
How ever few other factors also have some influence like:
1. Amount of Traffic
2. How many Popular/Hot Hubs from a Hubber
3. How much users like and comment on your Hubs and how much informative are they for other readers/hubbers...
Sunspot activity, the phase of the Equinoctial Moon, whether the score keepers got a good night's sleep, the height of anthills prior to a rain storm, and a few other esoteric factors only the New World Order Illuminati can fathom or to which they alone have access!!

Why does hub ranking depend partly on how often they are updated?If a hub is well written from the start and it gets good traffic, why does the author need to update the hub periodically to keep the ranking up? This part of the ranking formula baffles me. Thanks.
