Can someone explain how a hub is scored? My highest hitting hub also has the lowest score.

That's what the "follow" button is for.
I think it has to do with advertising. But many will argue that. It is indeed a mystery. I ignore the scores.

Woohoo! Not only do I currently have 100 as my total hubscore but my best hub has a score of 99 which is the highest I have ever seen for any of my hubs!

I've published hubs recently that are starting out with a score of 44, or 45. I've never really had such low scoring hubs. One of them I can semi see it being low scored, as it's more of a rant than anything...
