How to get traffic
I know this is a loaded Question, but I am looking for a simple answer. I am fairly new to Hub pages and the Forums all have different advice for the increasing traffic question. The most popular answer is backlinks, and I understand backlinks, but Im not sure how to get them. Just posting links on my social networks is not enough. How do I get quality backlinks without spamming other sites? Some say use Fivverr and pay for it, others say that will actually hurt your rankings. Any help would be great!
Write more. You only have a few hubs. Write good quality, interesting articles that will be evergreen. Participate here by reading, commenting, and following other hubbers. I also post on FB and Pinterest. Good luck!
Thank you for your answer, am in the outline stages of around 10 different hubs that I hope to have completed and posted within 30 days from now. I am looking for a way to get my search engine and backlink traffic from outside of hubpages
It just takes time, but your hubs will mature.
I see that you posted this question 5 months ago, and I'm curious how it is going for you now? I am new to Hub Pages and I just posted a similar question. I am still trying to figure out how to post ads. Thats how new I am. I plan to stick with it, and I hope that you still are as well.

My traffic is getting better each and every week (it does take time). I have found that by writing about an interesting topic (or at least a well searched topic) with a good title is the best way for traffic. Google alone accounts for 60% of my traffic and I have 2 hubs that are listed #1 for their respective keywords. I also use the standard social media sites, (FB, Twiiter, Digg, Stumble, and Pinterst) and certain forums but I find that they only give me a short, mild boost if best. I have heard recipe hubs do well on here, let me know how they work for you.

But I did post a hub- depressing but really, go check it out: the ending is informational. Please give me advice and let me know what you think.

This post will more than likely serve to drown me in hot water, but I will take my chances in the hope of finding at least one compassionate soul who won't take this the wrong way.I have been away from HubPages and have just recently found the time to mingle in the community again.I have been doing...

I am starting to wonder about a lot of the questions that are asked. I'm talking about the ones that are listed in the Answers area. They appear to be from people who have new accounts for the purpose of asking questions.I personally do not mind, as most of those questions are easy to...

I signed up with HubPages in January. I posted my first article on the 18th. Immediately I posted about 11 articles. Since then I have posted a total of 21, all featured. I realize that Google has been changing their algorithms and such. But I haven't even hit two...

I thought I would post this as I often find that I post only when something negative is happening. So, for today, I am happy because my traffic is really doing well.

Hi everyone,I'm just starting out in the wonderful world of Hubpages questions and answers. I've had a look through the help centre and only found a little info....basically that Q&A's are meant to be a very mini hub type thing, where you can earn the 60% for all views on your Question and...
