What importance does 12.12.12. hold for you, as everyone seems to be going crazy about this day?

It means about as much as 10-10-10 and 11-11-11 did for me. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for each new day, but the importance of the day, for me anyway, is that is my only real opportunity to do good in the world. The past is history and the future is just out of reach. As of this moment 12-12-12 is all that I have. :0)

Yes, I agree with you. It is just an interesting  date and we should be thankful for each new day. Thanks CJ Sledgehammer for responding to the question.

No it holds no significance for me. It probably would if the world as is was using the original calendar that was used in the biblical days and not this Roman version. The original calendar had 13 months for 28 days per month, to coincide with the moon's cycle, the Roman calendar confuses people like myself who knows that a month does not carry 30-31 days and that Christmas does not actually fall in December but closer to the tax season.

I go with the flow because I live in this world but give me the Hebrew calendar and than talk about 12.12.12

It is like any other day for me. Those who expect to get a baby or any special events  in their life scheduled for this particular day, may have some significance, not for others.

It is really cool. 12 12 12 looks neat. What a fun thing to get excited about. Numbers only line up that way about once a year. I think I will write all my children and wife cards for the day. I better go get a dozen doughnuts (i will eat the 13th right there)
And guess what that means 12 days til Christmas.

Sometimes it is nice to have a fun day that does not mean anything at all except for the excuse to do some nice things for others and maybe yourself. It means that sometimes things are not all that serious, relax and laugh.

It is nothing but a nice number, easy to remember. Now a days it is a fashion to the media to make sensation to such non-useful, meaningless things.
The business community make it a chance to boost their business. " Buy Gold in 12/12/12, it will bring fortune to your house" this is an advertisement given by a popular jeweler.
Big cloth shops, Gift shops, Car dealers are also try such advertisement to attract customers.
Not only 12/12/12 but also 11/11/11/, 10/10/10 and any such numbers are popularized by the media and the business magnets.
It is very pity to hear that hospitals encouraged pregnant women to get deliver on 12/12/12. For this hospital authorities given medicine to delay the delivery and done cesarean on 12/12/12, and for making more happy to the couple they announce the birth of the baby is exact on 12 hrs-12 mts- 12 sec--on 12/12/12.
Not only in numerical aspect, but media give popularity  to day like 'Akshaya Threthiya' etc.
One month earlier media announce this year Akshaya threthiya is important due to.......likely . And followed this business people givr their ads according to their product choice.
Most wonder thing is that not only rich, but the poor people also run towards this ads.
These are all, may be the fashion of this century. Believe so.
