Sudden Fall in Traffic ?
Why traffic on all my hubs has decreased considerably. I have promoted them a lot, much more than earlier but no views. Not even the average views which I used to get earlier. Did anyone else noticed it?
I have no idea, my account hasn't been updated for over 18 hours.
I've also noticed a significant drop today. I have about 2/3 less traffic today than I did each day in November and December. I am relieved to know it is not just me. I went on Google Analytics and my traffic is also very low according to Google. Does anyone know if the site went down last night for a while? I hope that is the only reason and not a change in where HubPages ranks again according to Google.
One of my hubs went down from over 400 hits a day to less than 30 a day over night! I am certain that this is caused by a problem in the hubpages program-not Google. How do we complain?
hugheshhrs - I suspect the issue is not with HubPages. Since my Google Analytics dropped as well, there really isn't the same amount of traffic coming in. I'll bet Google has changed its algorithm again and its changed how some hubs rank in searches.
I'm sorry to hear that people are having these traffic problems. I know how that feels, ugh. I have not been affected (this time), my traffic is about the same. Just to let you know, it's not everyone at HubPages.
I've been over 1000 views a day and have dropped down to 340 in the last 24 hours. I googled my keywords and I am still ranking the same as before. Makes me wonder if it's a hubpages thing, or did everyone suddenly stop searching?
It sounds like it is only happening to certain hubbers. I hope somehow there is some quirk in the system and everyone will have better views tomorrow. Your story sounds very similar to mine. I noticed my Wizzley views have not dropped, just Hubpages.
Really sad to hear. Dont know how it happened but now my traffic has again boosted up.
Last time Google made an algorithm change, my stats kept going up too when others went down. This time, I am the one losing the traffic. It happens.

I'm almost afraid to ask...is there an error in anyones page views in the last 2 days? My views have gone from a little more than 1,000 to over 22,000 this morning! I have never had this happen before and I'm afraid it's a mistake. Please tell me I can get excited!

I have an article which is always is popular, but in the last few days it's getting around 1,000 views a day. It's a pretty old one too. I'm happy, but don't understand why now? Does this mean someone posted it on social media and people liked it?

I was getting great traffic until Panda hit in 2011 and my traffic took a nosedive. The last six months or so my traffic was increasing nicely. I was excited to work on HP again. However, the last week or so I lost it all and now am sitting back at my lows.Oh well, it...

Well, was there another black and white animal crapping overnight? I don't have a lot of views, but it was climbing. Penguin only nudged it downward temporarily, then it recovered. Panda did nothing to it. I was just breathing a sigh of relief. I've worked diligently on my hubs to make sure they...

I am experiencing an overall average off 66 percent less page views per day, for seven days versus a week previous and for the past two months. Such a huge drop in page views makes me think that Google has tuned up something again. I do know that I don't have the time and energy to keep...

I had an article that was consistently getting 1500 views/day. Then I was contacted by a HubPages editor who said she was going to tweak the page, update the illustrations, etc. Great, fine! The DAY her changes went live, the views and earnings dropped in half, and have stayed there ever since...
