Why is my hub showing phishing errors?
two of my hubs are marked with phishing. They were published months ago with no changes made by me. What do I do? what is phishing on a hub page article.?
I have just finished sorting out two of my hubs that supposedly had phishing problems that I wrote more than 1 & 2 years ago.
Go into the edit mode on the hub and remove anything that goes to the outside of hubpages. That means links to other sites or as HP suggest "SuggestedLinks". This helped me and my hub list is now clear.
The must be something going on at the moment, as there seems to be a lot of problems running around at this time.
I don't think it's necessary to remove external links, especially if you are confident that the links are clean. It's an internal site problem, and it also seems to occur with links that point to Hubpages articles. In a few days they should fix it.
There have been some weird malware reports over the past several days. It's nothing you did, don't worry. You might want to check the forum; staff said they were aware of the problem and working on it.
I had this happen just now, with a link that went to a site that I thought was reputable. I navigated to the site and Google Chrome started throwing up malware warnings. Even if it isn't accurate, I don't want a visitor to my Hub to catch something nasty on his or her computer because of the information I shared. It could be because of a rise in hacking attacks right now, also - I've noticed that a lot of folks are having problems with the warnings.
The phishing that went on over Christmas was crazy wild. I believe this is the same Mal-ware infection bothering lots of Hubbers. Most likely nothing to do with your hubs. Simone Smith has been infected. She's an HP staffer. I just laughed when I read she had violations linking to her profile.
Glad you asked this, and glad the others have answered, because I too was just now shocked to discover a malware warning on one of my best Hubs, that's been out there for almost 2 years.

One of hubs is cited to have violated a hubpages policy by having links to malware or phishing sites. How can we tell that such a link is made so we can make the necessary correction? This particular violation is not highlighted unlike others.

In this hubhttp://shuck72.hubpages.com/hub/Running … e-easy-wayThere is a link to some article about marathon yoga written by another hubber. I did not put it there. Is there a way for hubbers to hyperlink in other hubbers hubs?If so seems kind of predatory? Thanks for any insight.

After the main text capsule, there appears some ebay links which I never added - like 'dog food' and 'my account', how do you get rid of them?(I can see 'dog food' being somehow related to the ebay rover link, so maybe it's caused by inserting the ebay affiliate link.)

I had six hubs showing broken links yesterday. I corrected all of them, but two are still showing the broken link icon. And, the edit date hasn't updated. Anyone else seeing this?

One of my hubs causes Norton to flash a Phishing Alert. There is nothing unusual about the hub. Thought.
