I want to write better hubs and would like any advice I can get from everyone to make them better.
Things I know I need to improve but not sure the best way I should go about it are;
Content of hubs
Layout of my hubs
Amount of views I get (don't care about making money from ads just want more people interested)
Maybe get some fans and make some new friends.
Thank you for any feed back it will help me lots on future hubs i write.
Welcome to HubPages, Temujinkhan I read your cookbook hub and I think you should divide it into sections. Try not to have readers scroll tags, add nutrition but otherwise, you have great writing and info you're doing great! traffic will arrive when you promote your Hubs outside of HP.
Tumujinkhan, you may have some problems -- at least with the diabetic cookbook. You may copy lists of ingredients from other sites/cookbooks, but you cannot copy their method of preparation verbatim as that is a violation of copyright. It appears as though virtually that entire hub is plagiarized. I'm actually surprised that it hasn't been flagged yet.
Do what Dame Scribe suggested. And also go through and reword the preparation so that it's in your own words and then you'll be fine.
Thank you I will do that took it off to edit it
I have a new hub about diabetes but I feel I should add more as it seems a little short. what do you think
Alright, I read the Diabetes side effects but do not understand why you would include other UN-related health information those could be different Hubs altogether your side effects Hub could include a one day menu plan, instructional video on hypoglycemia, or whatever you think would be ideal for supporting info to your Hub. It is rather short though so would try to write answering - what, when, where, how, why. Just some thoughts. hope that helps.
Hey Dame Scribe's they are all related health information it is just many are over looked. I very much like the idea of adding a video.
I agree it is to short I nkow of a few more I could add to it.
Thank you your feedback is helping alot.
Reviewed two of your hubs, The History of Sunderland and Galatium, each to me appear to need a bit of tweaking in the content, layout appears fine. For example in the history hub you might want to expand the actual historical content,
(excerpt) “The people of Sunderland are know as Mackems because of the ship builders in Sunderland making the ships that were then fitted and nearby Newcastle.”
Why are they known as Mackems? I looked the word up in both the dictionary and an encyclopedia and could not find a definition or explanation. You article does not provide it either.
You raise the subject matter but do not explain or define what it is? The reader is left with the question; provide the answer. Solve that by expanding content and you’ll have a good hub.

I’ve been reading many questions on the forums about how to get more traffic to your hubs. I’m a great believer in testing something, analysing the results, refining and sharing, and I approached the subject of how to get hub views in a practical methodical way. I’ll share my techniques below and...

Hi,I've read an e-mail I received with the rules and the ONLY thing I could see was that I had 2 links, so I removed one and still got flagged. I think I followed the rest of the rules. Any suggestions? Here's my hub URL:<snipped>THANKS,

As many of you know, HP has recently provided us with a number of new ways to record feedback to the writers of hubs. In addition to just making ordinary comments, you can now add reinforcing clicks by simply checking the words "Useful", " Funny", "...

Does it bother you that people visit your hubs and don't leave comments? What's more important to you, getting tons of traffic with no comments or getting less traffic with comments? For me, I love to get comments because it lets me know if I have touched someone or given someone a new way of doing...
