How can one use Facebook to increase traffic to Hubs?
Can I start a Facebook page specific to hubs? Promote my hubs on my personal account? Is there a hub pages Facebook page somewhere and can we promote hubs through that?
That's a good question Karen. I know you can create a Facebook account or even post links to your hubs on your own Facebook wall. If there is a Facebook for hubpages I sure like to know because I have 5 likes on mine and that doesn't get me far .
There is a Hubpages Facebook page, you can find a link to it on Hubpages log-in page, I believe. I don't know if you can post your Hubs to it. I have a fan page on FAcebook for my writings, but I haven't had a lot of luck or activity with that, but I hear some people do. I have had some luck with friends and family that re-post my Hubs on Facebook. Most of my traffic, though, from Facebook comes from a FAcebook group whose members like one of the subject matters I write about. I would say, from my experience, Facebook groups are good for driving some traffic to Hubs. I recently tried out Twitter, and the good thing about Twitter is you can use hashtags that people might follow and find your Hub. Edit: Sorry, the link to HP's Facebook page is there when you sign out; it's also on the blog, which you can get to through a link on the right hand side of your home page here.
I would love a good answer for this. What I have done for other hubbers is share on facebook with many of my groups which gives them a new audience. I try to do this about three times a week. It is a win-win situation. It will give another person hundreds viewers ..at least exposure.
Bingo everyone. Hub's Facebook has over 27,000 likes!!! I just posted a link to my recipe on their site and it worked!!! This is their URL : http://www.facebook.com/Hubpages.com. So see you all there yay!!!
Start your page or make personal account join different groups and promote your hub links. Share with others.
You should send link 2 ur friends or tag them in status updates. In my case I have 5 family members and all of them are using facebook so it can generate a lot of views
There are lots of ways you can do that. Two particularly come into mind.
One, set up a a facebook account if you already don't have one and add as many friends as possible. Then you can share links to your hubs on your wall and in your status updates.
Two, you can set up a Facebook page on the topics you commonly write on and publicize your page to your friend and friends' friends. Post links to your hubs on this page as well and hope for the best. You can also publicize your Facebook page to reach a wider audience by Facebook Ads, but it costs some money.
Oh, third, you can also set up a group and add as many friends as possible.
I hope this helps.
I do share my links on my Face Book account. But I didn't thought of creating a Facebook page. Its a good idea Cuttler
copy your hub's link and paste it on facebook at different pages and groups,,,,,,

I have read somewhere here that google search engines take into account the page-views to compute ranking. Is it advisable to delete non-performing Hubs, those with 0 pageviews a day, as a way to increase traffic in an attempt to increase ranking? How do you deal with low-performing hubs?thanks in...

I've noticed that when it comes to traffic, my hubs on network sites (ex. turbofuture, pairedlife) perform a lot better than my hubs on hubpages.com. I'm just wondering if there are certain ways we can do to increase the views for these hubs other than just sharing them on social media. I'm asking...

1. Change ad placements so they don't interrupt the text. Place ads to one or either side of the text.2. Get rid of Recommended For You ads currently at the bottom of articles. They are undermining the whole site.3. Encourage more transparent dialogue between writers and the HP team. Exchange of...

I plan on editing my existing hubs, the ones with high traffic to get them to rank even better for terms they already rank for, but not at #1 spot. I have a premium SEM rush account using which I can see what I am ranking for and what I can improve upon. I use this on my own website with a lot of...
