Yes. There are definitely copyright issues when posting pictures from Google images. When using images found on Google you absolutely must get the author's permission first otherwise, the person using the image would be in violation of copyright laws and could suffer penalties that go along with the violation. Depending on the author of that image, the penalties could be quite significant.
Unless stated otherwise, pictures found on the web are copyright of the originators.
