How do hubbers vote on rising star hub nominees?
The following instructions are in the newsletter, but what does it mean? If you visit the topics, there is no obvious place to vote. If you open the actual hub, there is no place to vote. I have looked for the answer to this question before, but I must be missing it somewhere. Is voting only open on Fridays? "The three Topics from which the nominees hail feature carousels enabled with polls through which Hubbers and casual visitors alike can vote for their favorite nominees."
If you send the link I can give you better instructions.
You vote on the homepage of the link they sent. You don't vote within the article itself. There should be instructions saying something like click on your favorite article.
There is this introduction to the Rising Star program in the newsletter, followed only by links to the actual hubs. I posted three of the links below as a comment to your response, Geekdom. I never see it go down the feed either, at least not in any way that I would recognize it as voting on Rising Star nominees.
"While one can only nominate something for Hub of the Day, one can actually vote for each week's Rising Star nominees. The three Topics from which the nominees hail feature carousels enabled with polls through which Hubbers and casual visitors alike can vote for their favorite nomineess.
Not just any Hubber can be nominated for a Rising Star Accolade. Only those who are new to the site are eligible! That makes this program particularly good for discovering new talent.
