It means some of yours hub doing well on hubpages so they spotlight them.
In the edit profile mode you can provide the URL of three Hubs to show in the showcase or spotlight, whatever name you may call, but these hubs must contain an image of minimum 200 x 150 pixel. HP can show more than three Hubs also in spotlight at its sole discretion.
You can spotlight 6 hubs (I'm not sure why WQIndia says 3) by editing your profile and selecting them from a drop-down menu to appear in the rotating slideshow (Carousel) of images and titles (the spotlight) on your profile.
Do not confuse hubs you spotlight (put in the spotlight) with featured hubs. Many hubs can be featured, and that is determined by the HubPages evaluation process.
The difference between hubs you put in the spotlight (carousel) and featured hubs is explained here: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Featured-Hubs
Sir, Though 6 columns are provided to give URL addresses, yet the edit section asks to provide only 3 hub URL's. I provided 6 URL's and all are showcased in spotlight. I don't reason for ambiguity.

Thanks Sid, I didn't choose my hub to be in the spotlight, that's why I'm wondering how it got there. This is the first time I have seen this in my profile page. Could it have automatically been put there?
Message at HP edit profile reads as under:
Select up to 3 Hubs to showcase at the top of your profile. These Hubs must include a photo that is at least 200x150 pixels. Sorry for repeating as I want to learn only.
I emailed Simone about this issue and she updated this Learning Center entry: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/choosing-a-username See #4 for the skinny on the Spotlight Carousel. If U don't choose hubs for the Carousel, your most recent hub show.
Sid, I really appreciate that you checked into this. It happened right after I published a new hub yesterday.
I totally agree with Sid on this question. His answer is dead on.

How high are your not featured hubs numbers? It seems like my unfeatured hubs are multiplying rapidly, exponentially...is anyone else experiencing this recent phenomenon?

I'd like to suggest that "normal" Hubs should have an exclamation mark next to them on our account page.I think there's a very high risk that new Hubbers will misunderstand the normal/Featured system. I've already answered one enquiry from a Hubber who has misunderstood it.He...

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

Perhaps long term experienced hubbers can help with this. HP allows me to choose six hubs that will rotate at the top of my profile. Which should I choose? The oldest? the newest? The most popular based on number of views.? The least popular? The ones declining? The ones with the up...

I have only ever had one featured hub before but when I checked my account today I was shocked to find I have 13 in featured hubs due to low engagement. This is proof that traffic has fallen greatly. It's not just my lowest scoring hubs either..it is right across the board. Is anyone else...
