Why don't I receive email hub notifications anymore?
For some reason, I don't receive anymore hub notifications. Do you know how I can fix this issue?
Go to "My Account", which you can find by clicking the drop-down at the top of any HubPages page under your username. Once in "my account", you'll see the stats of your hubs.
Click on the "profile" button. You'll be brought to the edit your profile page. From there, click the "email settings" link. You'll be asked to answer a security question to confirm your identity. Type in the answer to the question asked then click the "submit" button.
If you answered correctly, you'll be brought to the email settings page. This is where you will see the email notification settings. Check the boxes if you want HubPages and others to contact you as well as get HubPages news.
For the rest of the notifications, you can choose whether to receive "instant email", "digest" or "mobile". You can even choose all of them. There's a drop-down menu there with the choices "auto", "always", "never". Choose either "auto" or "always" if you want to receive email notifications. Hope this helped.
Thank you so much for your answer! I changed my settings. The first day I received tons of emails of other hubbers' activities, but I was still not notified when hubbers commented on my hubs. Do you know how I can solve this problem?
You're welcome. Are you following your own hubs? Click on the "follow" button in your hubs. In your email settings page, put "always" for the "when a hub I am following is commented on" and you should get an email if someone comments on your hubs.
I went back and made sure that I'm following all my hubs. But yesterday, I got a comment on one of my hubs and still I wasn't notified Also, I made sure that I put "always" for "when a hub I am following is commented on." Thanks a lot though!
