Two of my hubs are showing not featured-engagement icon, what does that mean
two of my hubs which were featured earlier are now showing not featured-engagement icon, I am unable to understand what does that imply and how I can get them to be featured again, please fellow hubbers help me out
it means that not many people are commenting or reading those hubs. Try and update them with recent info and hopefully they will be featured again
It means that the hub is not receiving any, or very minimal, traffic (it's got nothing to do with comments). If you hover over the symbol next to the hub it gives a couple of suggestions about what to do such as updating subheadings and adding more content.
You could also check your title and see if you've chosen a phrase that's too competitive? Maybe there's a highly related phrase that has less competition in the search results, that you could easily adapt your hub content to accommodate?
I'd also suggest working on your reader "hooks", particularly in the summary and first 2 sentences of the intro.
Another thing you could do is try to get some social media traffic.

And I can't change it!!!The wording changed in the profile editor. It now says, "Show only Featured Hubs on my profile: Yes No"Which means we now want to click "Yes". Which I did. And then I saved it of course. But it doesn't work. It keeps reverting back to "No". And...

If a man remembers a woman's birthday (even after years), does that mean he really cares?I had a relationship with a guy when I was a teen, he left after 2 months following an advice from a friend. But we never lost contact, even when I was married with children and he in a relationship with...

Earlier today, all my hubs contained the "H" icon in the featured column, which means featured. Now two of my hubs have no icon at all, that space is completely empty. Does anyone know why?

I'm sure all of us have felt time-crunched while working on our websites, articles and HubPages. If you have a limited amount of time, what do you think will make your site more valuable in the eyes of Google (i.e. increase traffic): writing a brand new, high word count hub or spending the same...
