When a victim tells a lie on a sex case how long can the state hold a person in jail
The mother of the Victim knows its a lie the girl friend of the victims father is the one that put the victim up to saying this. when the victim came back home to the mothers home he state that the defended never touched him that the fathers girl friend lied.
This needs to be brought to the attention of the person's attorney who is in jail. If there has been a verdict, all that can be done is to request an appeal. The person, or person's you say know the truth will have to be willing to testify. If there is sufficient evidence, the judge may throw it out.
If there hasn't been a trial, then these people need to go before the magistrate and produce this new evidence before them.
The case has gone no where the attorney we had did nothing the person has been sitting in jail 55 days and has gone no where , in front of a judge, the victim, is 10 years old the mother called the state and told her what the son just said
Now, it depends if the state believes them or not?? Surely a trial date has been set?
the state sent to officers out to question the mother but not the victim. they said they would get back with her, why did they not talk to the victim

Hi everyone,Here's a thought...We have been taught to speak the truth, but it is right to do so in the cost of hurting/harming someone? Especially if that someone is a person we care for? It is one of the biggest dilemmas, what do you think?
