How to make "Not Featured - Engagement" into a featured hub?. Ideas please

Probably the easiest way is to make a few adjustments to the Hub so that it will go through the approval process again. Getting a couple of people to view that Hub also might make it featured.

Yeah, if that ever happens to me, I'll just play the QAP game, as well.

Make edits. Add more images. Add a poll. Iv basically added polls to all of my hubs that were unfeatured because of that! :-)

Well, of course, that just means it will be unfeatured due to lack of engagement (not enough people have read or commented on it in a while), so you can always share it on twitter, Facebook, Google+,Pinterest, etc.  If by sharing it in all of the social medias, does not draw any comments, then you should update it to make sure it is an "evergreen" hub, or really go ahead and do that before sharing it, unless it is as evergreen as it can be, i.e., at least 1,000 to 1,500 words for an article, with at least three legal images or your own photos and , if appropriate, add a poll or quiz, map, etc.  Also add at least one video that would, of course, be appropriate for the subject matter of the hub.  If one of your followers happens to share it with HubPages, that may help to get more engagement as well.

    Hi mariasial,
Are you happy with your article the way it is? Do you honestly feel that it is your best in terms of spelling, grammar and images? Have you given your information in a way that can be clearly understood? If you're using bold or other fonts, are you doing it in places that makes your article easier to read? If so, consider leaving your article as is, add links at the bottom of other hubs (your hubs) that are about similar ideas (see my articles for an example of how I create links), and wait for traffic to grow. Make all your articles as good as they can be.
