What is exact URL I should use? SEO overload!
When I 'ping' a hub or put it into google search engines itself, do I just copy and paste from the address bar above on left? Or do I add a www. instead of the http? Basically what is the URL I add.
ALSO any links on the actual HOW TO add backlinks, found the why etc
Many thanks, I've been doing a lot of reading but am a little stumped on the above.
Just copy and paste from the address bar to Ping. I never (or rarely) Ping hubs, as the only function of pinging is to make search engines crawl them. Hubpages is crawled pretty regularly anyway.
I rarely or never backlink hubs. You only need backlinks if you are writing for such a saturated keyword that you need to compete with other content or if you have a good way to drive traffic.
Backlinks are becoming less and less of a source of SEO - unless you know what you're doing with them, it's better to spend that time writing more hubs, not waste it backlinking worthlessly.
