    Anyone else losing hubber score?

The funny thing is I find the more I comment on other hubs, the lower my score goes...honest.  Crazy, but honest.  I had a 98 score for weeks and weeks when I wasn't able to read as many hubs and leave comments.  I wanted to make up for lost time and started reading more hubs and leaving comments and I've watched my hubber score drop a point a day.
Anyone have an explanation or experiencing the same thing?

Hi Til.....Ah....the ole "thorn in our side,"  Hubber score.   As this has been discussed so often, and each time we seem to receive numerous comments on this particular question.....the end result doesn't seem to ever really "explain" nor pacify our curiosity,   does it?
I have resigned myself to understanding and accepting that our Hubber score is yet another HP enigma.
We don't know exactly how it grows, nor how and why it reduces.....who or what is the director & producer of our score.....and it's simply a daily surprise to us, as we open HP each day.
I know it won't make you feel any better....but my hubber score was higher while I was away, completely inactive. (how's that for a head scratcher?)  Once I began to participate and finally write again......it went down.   If this is suppose to make perfect sense.......are we the air heads?
Alas, GF....the only explanation (If there IS one) would have to be reported to us by our fearless leaders.  I no longer care enough to ask.  I humbly accept that "it is what it is."....and just keep plodding along.....Zip-pa-dee-doo-da.  There just is no room on my list of "concerns" for that one.......Adopt this attitude, my sweet friend.  I promise you'll feel a whole lot better.
You are a100% TOP NOTCH Rock Star as far as WE are all concerned!!

No matter the score GF just curious.  I see the same thing.  When I'm away from HP the score goes up.  When I am active, it goes down.  Maybe its reverse psychology???  And, btw, it takes one to know one.

LOL........Believe me, Til, it crossed my mind a time or two that they're giving me a message...like:  We like you better when we don't hear from you!!!  LOL!

I'm going for the reverse psychology because I too am having similar issues.

I just asked the same thing on another forum tillsontitan because my score went down from 92 to 81 in two days, and I had been very active during that time, commenting and publishing one hub. It still remains a mystery.

      It is frustrating.

There's nothing as frustrating as trying to figure this out.  I was away all day yesterday.  It does seem when I'm away, my score stays higher.  But my views go down.  When I'm more active, I start losing score, but my views go up.  It makes no sense.

You've explained it perfectly though.  Perhaps this is a conundrum we cannot solve.

I have rarely been on the site for months, and my score has pretty consistently been 100.

my hub score decreases if i don't participate in answers, hub hoping and writing new hubs. Just do 5 of each, except the writing, each day. Yr score will maintain.

    Hi Mary.
I haven´t written anything in months but still leave the odd comment now and again, my hub score has gone way down and I just thought it was because I am no longer publishing anything new and have unpublished a lot of my hubs due to HP un featuring them. I´ve given up being worried about anything that happens on here and have also lost my enthusiasm for bothering to write too. Maybe I will resurface anew maybe I won´t, but there´s no fathoming the in´s and out´s of HP and google .
Hope you are well Mary smile

I am truly sad to hear you are thinking about no longer writing here.  I for one miss you and hope all is going well otherwise...the move?  Stay well.

Hi Mary. You are such a lovely lady , thank you so much for caring. I may start to write again when I am inspired so watch this space. No sign of a move yet and I´m doing my best to sit it out and not become too impatient. Big hug to you Mary  smile

I gave up even looking at a hub score because I never understood how they get the figures.

Almost everyone facing this problem of losing hubber score.  I stood 90-95 range for months and now it has come down to 79. I couldn't lift the score though I worked hard. It constantly remains at 79.  Luckily my viewership showing an increasing trend and I am happy with that.  On revenue aspect, what we need is more hits not author score.  Anyhow I pray HP authority to look into this issue and do some urgent measure to resolve it. Since majority of hubbers face this negative trend, it is high time the HP people do some serious work in this regard.

I think the hubber score is not as important as many people think.  I was just wondering what others thought.  Don't let it bother you.
