I just checked the Amazon Discussion boards to find out what's up with reports. Yes they are late, and they don't know when they will be updated. This is another reason why I just hate this affiliate program. Sorry just had to vent. There is really no reason that this company shouldn't be update reports on time.

Thanks Mark. I think I need to move to France. Maybe it could mellow me out. (I just LOVE LOVE LOVE December sales reports though.) And I'm only 7 items away from the 8 percent in commissions threshold, and I'v never ever done that before, so I'm just a little angst ridden to see if I'll make it. I know that in the next few days, sales will come crashing down. (I'll try to stay off the forum for that day, I'm not a pretty sight when that happens.)

Given your track record, do you really think that you won't make seven more items in the 16 days left in the month?

I say wrap the angst up in a box, give it away for Xmas to an emo music fan who will really appreciate it, break out the eggnog and fuzzy slippers, and enjoy the holidays.

LoL, from a emo music fan to fuzzy slippers and eggnog. Relache you always amaze me.

Yes, I did make the 8 percent threshold. But I've had sales just die in December, I mean plummet for like 2 weeks. I'm hoping some serious diversification will soften this this year. But you never know.

Congrats on the 8% but sorry to hear about the sagging sales.
I do owe you some thanks, as I cracked the 6% barrier in my first twoish weeks and never would have given Amazon a shot if it weren't for your tips, advice and stories about the program. Thanks for being an inspiration for not only me, but countless others!

i don't. what i do is just go to the top of my HubPages screen and click:

my account>Affiliiate Settings>Check your earnings>Check Your Amazon Earnings

this opens a new window (Amazon Associates) and prompts you for a login, then you just log in and you will get all of your reports. check now, you might be lucky wink

wow, Nelle...8%. amazing. i thought i was doing good when it rolled over to 6%. you know you made it. hey what is the highest anyone can go? just curious.

I'm glad you vented, Nelle, because this has been frustrating me, too!  I'm nowhere near your level, but I've enjoyed checking all my stats each morning when I sit down at my computer with my morning coffee and only in the past week has this been happening with Amazon and it's quite frustrating!

Thanks for the update. Figured they were late since they hadn't updated yet.

I'm puzzled as to what could cause reports to be late or screwed up all the time. It really isn't too complex of a thing to pull off successfully.

I haven't sold any Amazon yet - do you get an email advice to let you know that something has sold?

Nope, Aqua. You just have to check your report.

    Thanks for the update, Nelle!

I am always 1 to 2 days behind on my reports, kinda annoying but I chalk it up to the time zone difference. Since I don't feel like doing the maths in my head I just check obsessively instead lol

I was just reading the discussion boards and apparently this happens every year around this time.  Understandable, but you would think their system would be a bit better so as to avoid this type of thing.

I sure hope when it finally gets posted it shows a lot of sales for yesterday - for all of us!

Glad to see they finally updated. Prehistoric system they use over there.

Nice update too, as I sold 5 items yesterday, including two electronic pest repelling equipment. LOL Chalk that one up as strangest sale I have seen so far.

Dr23 I'm glad the tips of helped and you cracked 6 percent. I should clarify, sagging sales were in previous years. So far this year has been going gangbusters.

Congrats on the 8%, Nelle!  I'm so bummed, checked Amazon this morning for the stats that never showed yesterday and had NO sales - what a let down, especially since I've been getting at least 1 sale pretty much every day!  Oh, well, maybe today will be a better day...

Congrats on the 8%, Nelle! Hopefully things will pick up for you again as people make last-minute purchases.

Your tips have helped me, as well ... I'm now up to 6.5%. So that you again for that and for being so generous about sharing your knowledge.
