How do you build a bigger audience? Get more followers for your Hubs?

I see some of these Hubbers with only a few Hubs, and very little time with HubPages, with hundreds of followers. I bet these people have tons of great feedback and are making much more money for the few Hubs they have written. How do I get there?

I have said this in hubs until I am weary of saying it....if you don't comment on the hubs of other people then you can't expect them to comment on yours.  People are very, very loyal here, but if they are not receiving the love back then eventually even the loyal ones will move on to someone who reciprocates.  I have thousands of  views daily, and over 60,000 comments...and it is because I took the time to become an active member of this community rather than just someone who posts new hubs daily.

Of course Bill is right. But as usual I blow things up to a life perspective. The giving of ourselves to others allows them to give themselves to us.

I gree with Bill. Right now I don't have many daily views, because I haven't been around so much. Most of my views come from Google. I bet I'll have more "hubber views" today, because I have read and commented on a couple of hubs. Good luck VVaNess!

Thanks for asking this question, I am certain to benefit from these good suggestions as well.  I do love the community I have found in HubPages and I can see why interacting makes for growing connectedness!

I find that when I don't log in for a few days, my views go way down.  When I log in and start actively participating, my views go way up as do my comments.

Also, start reading Billybuc's HubPage.  He has a lot of followers, and they are very loyal.  If you start commenting to him regularly, you will see your followers increase.  HubPages has a family/network of friends here.  A lot of my HubPage friends came from Billybuc!  I don't comment to Billy just to get more followers...I didn't mean it to sound like that at all.  Billy gives out really great advice for writers!  Being connected together is what's important.
