    I need to know what I should do(and how to) and not do as a new hubber

    First you may want to explore the site and check out some top rated hubs.  This will help give you some idea of what other people are writing.  Then just start writing from the heart about topics that interest you or subjects you already know.  Once you look around a little and write your first hubs, signing up for advertisement programs comes pretty easy.

    Make your hubs informative as well as interesting to read. Put effort into editing them so the grammar and spelling is good. Take time to find some pictures for the hub so it looks better than just a big flow of text.

    Participate in the community, answer questions.

    Don't pressure yourself too much to write loads over night.

    Also don't expect your earnings to shoot up right away. It takes time to build traffic and for earnings to start building.

    Mostly, enjoy yourself and enjoy writing
