Is there a better way to make embedded links?
Every link I make has to to take up an inch and a half of space all by itself on a separate line and everying. Is it not possible to just have a single word in a sentence contain a link, in context? Is there some advanced mode where you can use HTML to do this or are we stuck with the widget functionality?
Are you perhaps making a line break? I've never actually used html, but I guess that the linking feature provided by hubpages is the one to use after all that's why it's there
I've been using it and it works well enough but I hate how it fragments a paragraph. I guess I'm just curious if you can do the same thing without creating a break.

Are embedded text links to our related articles still a good idea or does Google now frown on them?

Some Hubs contain links (in blue) embedded into a paragraph. How do you do that?Rather than a separate link box below my paragraphs I'd like to be able to do what others do and simply have a word or phrase (in blue letters like I've I've seen in other Hubs) that readers can click that will...

HubPages editors,If you choose to embed Amazon links instead of using the Amazon capsule that the site provides (yes, HubPages is still providing it even though they don't seem to want anyone to use it), please make sure the products are linked correctly. I had multiple broken Amazon links in my...

I couldn't find this on Hubpages somewhere. Does someone knows if it's possible to open a link in another screen? It looks illogical to me not to feature this options, for you lose your reader by using links.
