What do I need to do, in addition to having 10 featured Hubs?
What more can I do for AdSense? I would like to be able to make money. What is the best way, in addition to Amazon/Ebay links in my Hubs?
Your best bet would be to have more hubs. Look from the Big G's point of view: they want more and more content to display more and more ads and earn more and more money.
They are not looking only at quantity, they want consistency as well. If you made 10 hubs in a week and than stop being active, your work is almost meaningless for them. If they can see you are active for at least three months (six is much better) and you are able to make at least one hub in every single week, you are very close to become their partner.
And your point of view? I suppose it is not so much different: more hubs - more ads - more money.
Hope this helps:)

If a hub is not featured does that mean that it doesn't get any search engine traffic from Google or other search engines?

I have 6 out of 210 hubs. I've tried improving them but they still have a big old goose egg. I'm still not sure what it means when they aren't featured. I mean people still read them...
