I understand what the new HP Feed does, but how it is supposed to get me info quicker or better completely eludes me. Can someone shed some light?
I am igniting multiple Christmas candles . . .
. . . is it helping?
I'm liking the comment feed. You can follow up on them without having to jump back to the page.
Just kidding, Wyan. So I take it that you like it? And understand it? Do share...
I did feel like a show-off, just a little
I felt like I was cheating...
When you go to the feed page, you can filter by type. You can access recent forum posts and comments right from that page instead of going from place to place to keep track of everything.
It behaves just like the old Hubtivity, but the difference is you can interact from the feed page itself.
did it change from the first few days?
the way I understand it, we see activity from the topics and followers we follow, and our own followers?
it is nice to be able to comment from the feed and read hubs from the feed, but it doesn't seem to give us all new hubs written, only from our topics?
Do you have a topic selected under "filter by topic"? I just now saw that. That may be why you are not seeing all topics.
yes, I have the topics and now I get it. you click on the different categories and viola, everything appears.
I do like it.
it seemed all jumbled up until i set my preferences and then it looked alot less cluttered and usable
There is a "share" button which sends the hub you like to all of your followers. :-) that's neat.
I looked at it and posted a status that's about all i got from feed lmao
I'm replying from the feed as well. Just jump in and start playing, it's really quite a lot of fun. You can be a real busy body and stick your nose into just about everything.
Yes I just figured this out as well, LOL.
It does seem to help out a couple of recent suggestions like following comments you've made. I think I'll have to start using this more.
I didn't like it at first. But now I can see where it could get very addicting.
I still don't like it, but that is probably a good thing. I've actually spent more time writing!
I like feeds! looks like im going to have to do a whole lot more following and organizing to make this one work for me though
I don't like it. I hate change. Maybe I will later on, but now, I hate it. LOL I don't like the follower thing either. I'm too oldt for this shiiiit!

Hi,I've noticed over the past few months that I appear to be receiving notification of hubs published by people I am not following?I very purposely only follow a handful of people because I find it impossible to give any real focus to more than that. The only possible explanation I can see is that I...

Hey Hubpages Staff,I've been a member for 15 months now and have been told countless times that "Share with Followers" is NOT to be used by the author of a hub. Then why is it that the FEED is loaded with Hubbers promoting their own work?

I haven't really been on here properly for a while, but I did recently write a hub, and lots of my friends here have commented. But I still can't figure out how to read theirs and then comment! Its fine if its a new article, I can scroll down the feed, but if they haven't written for a while, how...

Is it only me, or are there others who think that it should be a common courtesy to reply to comments made to a hub. I always reply to comments made by my followers and others, and people who I follow do the same. I have noticed however, that some hubbers have comments left on their page, and they...

I saw in my feed that someone wrote a hub and it really interested me because I had something similar happen to me. I went to comment on it but I could not find ANYWHERE to comment on it other than through my feed. How do you comment on the new sites? Also, holy ads. I get why people use ad block.

How do you get articles to keep showing up on hubpages.com/feed?I'm always intrigued when I log into hubpages.com/feed and I see writers who keep popping up on the first page with articles they published months ago. Admittedly I am horrible at marketing and promoting my hubs and therefore, I am...
