Are we allowed to have a Table of Contents page?
Will Hubpages allow us to have a Table of Contents (TOC) page? It is an individual webpage (so I would create it just like a regular Hubpage page) that categorizes all of my pages. I have written about 40 unit studies for teachers. Each study is comprised of 3-50 individual lessons. The TOC page allows for teachers to easily navigate through all of my pages and find the lessons they wish to use. On Hubpages I would have 40 each of photos, text boxes (to describe each unit study), & link boxes. It will take me hours to recreate this, so I don't want to waste the time if it's not allowed.

I didn't see an answer in the link you provided, but it is helpful to hear it has been discussed before and wasn't approved. That will save me hours of work that would be in vain. I appreciate you answering the question! Thank you!
You can put a table of contents in your hubs. The hubograpy, was called something else by Hub Pages. If you read my last sentence, you will see are and not are not. You didn't see answer in the link because I did not provide a link.

I tend to create long-form content. A table of contents or a search function at the top of a hub would greatly benefit my users who may already know a bit about the subject and are looking for something new.

I have read that site maps are great for web site to help with search engine crawlers. Can we list a site map on our hubs at HP through the link capsule since are hubs are not more than one page? Can we do this and place a link to the header within that page?Or would it just be better to take a...

I have a page at Facebook. Facebook says it will charge just $5 for the page to be shown to 1000 people. Is advertising a page for a site that has Google Adsense on it allowable? Anyone know? Is Google going to say it is manipulated traffic or something? Worse yet, can I lose my Google...

In the spirit of community sharing and caring I give to you a step by step tutorial on how to make a Table Of Contents for your hubs.If you're familiar with HTML it's easy enough. Just a bit fiddly. The only way to make it easier is if HubPages HQ make a capsule to do it automagically.

I just put a TOC on two long hubs. It works very well except when you click the link, it is very slow. This is because it has to reload the entire hub and ads before it jumps to the linked area. I followed the instructions from Britflorida and Sidkemp and both were very helpful in guiding me...

Permission on HubPages table of contentsHi Darkside - I really appreciate your hub from four years ago about how to write a table of contents for a hub. I've found an easier way to make it work. I hope you don't mind if I create a new hub, with credit to you, on an easy way to make a table of...
