What to do if DMCA is ignored?
One of my hubs has been copied and I have contacted the poster and website and provided the DMCA information. I have had no response and my hub is still copied on the site. Is there anything more I can do? I have tried contacting the company who run the form software (vBulletin) but they say they have no control over what is posted.
you need to do a whois search and send a DMCA to the web hosting company. Google "whois search" and you'll find plenty of sites that do that search for free. Then you put in the domain and look through the info it pulls up. You want the host. If the host is hostgator or godaddy or whoever you then do a search for how to file a DMCA complaint with that company.
+1. Always contact the web hosting company.
I found and contacted the web host and received a very quick reply saying that they are looking into the matter. Thank you for your help.
excellent, hope they remove it quickly. Good luck

Copied HubsIs it a good idea to contact the author first or immediately file a DMCA complaint when copied material is discovered? I'm finding it a challenge to keep up with this aspect. Thanks in advance for your help!
