    Hubber Score changes strange ?

    1. So I had score of 76 stucked there.
    2. Made a hub and it went to 78! Then it went down in a day to 76 again and stucked there.
    3. I fixed like 6-7 old hubs and made them featured. Rankings of hubs went up. But hubber score still 76.
    4. Then I added another hub and it went up again to 78. In a day again drop to 76.
    5. Fixed 6-7 more hubs to make them featured and they got better scores but hubber score still 76.

All of this in like 10 days. Adding new hub gives me 78 almost instantly then in a less than a day down to 76.

Is this normal or my hubber score has a magnet on 76? smile

Your Hub Score is determined by the quality of your work, how much you socialize with other "Hubbers" and how often you post.  It is very minutely affected by your Hubs or how many you make singularly, it is a combined process.

Will try to socialize more, even started like month ago to be more active. Anyway, hubpages system is not perfect as I had a score of over 85 almost a year without any single comment, answer, forum post and now when I started hubscore going down smile

As writer space said, it includes socializing. You could technically have no featured hubs and still have a hub score profile of 90+. If you want a higher score, I suggest commenting on other hubs, answering questions and spending some time in the forums.

How then some hubbers have score of almost 100 and didn't have any activity like 2 years ? Also, I am pretty active last 15 days but no change at all, always 76 smile

I am going to debunk both other answers. I can leave this place for a month, no socializing at all, no new hubs and my score will go up dramatically. Come back, socialize a little, and my score will drop. Other times I have written a new hub just for my score to drop. Sometimes my score will change by doing nothing at all.
In all reality, no one actually KNOWS why the score changes or what specific things change it. We are all speculating. There is a provided guideline that HP offers us, but I have tested it time and time and it does not seem accurate. Do what you can to get your score to an 85 then stop worrying about it! Participate, write, comment, ask, answer, and cover every aspect of HP as much as you can and HOPE it does something, but do not let that score worry you!

Actually HubPages says that what both myself and Arco Hess Designs have stated is true.  Here is the link if you would like to validate it. http://darkside.hubpages.com/hub/Hubscore#mod_903926

I'm sorry if  I was confusing. I have been here almost 5 yrs. I know what it says. However I have actually tested it out. Like leaving for months at a time and my score going up. (The opposite of what that link implies)

Well I am not here to pick fights nor do I plan to make it look like I know everything.  You clearly know what you are talking about, so I will withdraw my statement.  God Bless.

I apologize if it came off rude at all! I genuinely hate seeing newbies stress about something many of us have already gone through and seen the lack of legitimate answers from HP on. Socializing is good, just not a fix most of the time. smile
