2012 is supposed to be the end of a social mind-set. Socially, we will transform, to supposedly become more loving and considerate of others. The end of suffering.

Ppl whom think the world is going to end are probably nuts, and probably know nothing about the Mayans whom dictated this info, which is not that the world ends.

The Mayans constructed the first calender in history, (based on astrology), and we employ it today. This  Calender constructed by the ancient Mayans ends in 2012..Therefore ppl have taken that and said that that's when the world must end, or something dramatic happens..

ahh but many have been, as far as I know there is only one left concerning the temple or dome of the rock and there are rumors that that wont take to long. 2 years for the jews to take it back from the muslims and thats it, last prophesy fulfilled and there are people who want to see that happen, push for it even so they can experience the rapture in their life times. Its actually pretty scary stuff if you look into it.

ya, that true, but nobody knows when the end will come not even the son of God, Jesus, so I disagree 2012 being the time of the end.

they say you will be saved when you have 'the mark of the beast'. I am yet to recieve this mark. The mayan calendar comes to an end in 2012. Hopefully our end will come soon with it.

I think we are more at risk by global warming than anything else.

Actually you don't want the mark of the beast, its bad. Is the mark of the devil as I understand it. Do my tattoo's count?

haha lol, forget the mayan calender, so do you mean the mayan are prepared to die. And if you know what it mean to receive the mark of the beast, you wouldn't have wrote that bro...God bless ya.

the end date of the mayan calendar, which i believe is debatable, is only the end of an age. not the world. in fact, there is no such thing as 'the end' or even 'the beginning' all is constant. in a constant state of flux.
    enjoy.

i will add that there is a significant galactic alignment scheduled to occur during the same time the mayans 'predicted' and there are many other prophecies and such from other cultures all over the world pertaining to THESE times we are experiencing now. significant times. but not end times.

there are many prophecies from many different religions and peoples throughout history about 2012

prophies needed to be looked at with the perspective of what could happen if people don't change things and themselves, or it is symbolic and indicative of the end of an age of s particular state of consciousness of humanity

things have been shifting for a long time, always are, but there are "laggards" that refuse to shift into the new states of consciousness, and they create all the problems of the world
