    Page Speed

I see I have several recommendations today on my Page Speed Insights, all of them being on my top performing hubs
(1( Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
I don't think I can do this myself, but can HubPages do this?
    (2) It recommends reducing the size of images on some of my pages - should we be reducing the size of our images before uploading them to hubpages?  I often use faststone resizer to resize images for various things, but never on hubpages

We can and should reduce image sizes, but I do not know if HP also do that by using a compression algorithm? You are correct we can not alter the use of Javascript and CSS above the fold. I had wondered if HP staff are aware that this is an issue even?

Pretty dismal Mobile page speed of 48 / 100Speed, Desktop speed of 63 / 100.  It would be nice to know if we should reduce images sizes and if so, what are the suggested sizes and pixel count.
On a positive side traffic is excellent today.
