    Using Images In Hubs?

Are you required to use images in Hubs in order for them to be considered good or featured? I'm not looking to do the bare minimum or anything but for me I feel like there could be one or two topics or hubs where you don't *really* need to use a good number of images.

Anyways, what're your thoughts on this?

    Hi there
Well I have not written a hub for a while, however in the help section you can find a lot of good tips on this subject.

I find pictures compliments the story/hub/poem.

I always add pictures that tell the story of my post, although the picture may seem to attract the attention as opposed to the main topic, it also attracts more readers.

I myself like to read a book more so if it is double spaced and adds beautiful pictures, otherwise the post/story becomes too crowded and overwhelming. This is just my opinion and how I feel. Sometimes a picture tells the whole story.

Of course I do give credit to the author or where the picture came from (like google).

    Good luck
    Laurie

I believe photos add to a Hub and they should be your own photos if at all possible.  I have a few hubs that do not need photos, but I felt something was missing without them. So I did some research on the topic and eventually found some clipart that would match the hub and inserted them, which made the hub look more interesting along with the words.

I would suggest adding photo's, it gives the reader something more to associate with the hub other than just the writing.

Images catches reader's eye and engages them. I have been using my own images to support my hubs and myself enjoy articles which have related pictures in it.
